Nope. I am in identical folder in both screenshots.
But, that said, I was using the wrong part of Media Browser to look for mp3 files. I was in the part that was looking for photos. Ooops.
Consider this case closed.
I am running into more serious problems with Creator now. I started in Director but thought better of it. Opened Creator, saw there was an update to the program, installed it, and rebooted and started it up again. Tried to open a previous show that was created in Creator but it gave me an error and would not open. I deleted it and started again because I only had three slides, so not a big deal. Then I tried your suggestion to use Media Browser to look for audio and then right click to preview BUT it would not show me any files in the folders where my audio exists. I have attached two screen shots. One from Media Browser and the other from my File Explorer. Media Browser is blank, while the Explorer window shows the files are there.
So, what do you think? I have rebooted a number of times to be certain of this problem and it won't go away.
This works for me. (Surprise)!!
It looks like you can select and preview the following files. .JPG .MP3 .MP4 .TIF .PSD .PNG .PDF. There may be more but I tested all of these and after you highlight one by clicking on it you then right click to add, or preview. You can also drag and drop from here.
Hope this helps, Bob
Everyone,
Please feel free to send in feature requests as you see fit. We love feature requests as they give us a unique insight into how people are using the product and what they're trying to get out of it; very useful information.
The 'music library' in particular is a top-tier feature that we KNOW people want. There are a variety of legal / financial factors that make this particular feature more difficult to implement quickly, but rest assured that we also want to see a Photopia Music Library sooner rather than later.
I'm glad to see that you go things worked out. Next time you run into a project that will not open, let us know before deleting that content. We can often fix issues of this nature by looking at the project folder on our end. Just use the Contact Us form on our site to start that conversation and we'll get things taken care of from that point.
@joshua My director will not update . As soon i can read all fixed things and i click uppdate so the program closes. I first wrote my licence key and after that i started update. I thought to uninstall today and install again The program is working as usual on PC with older version. I do not even find the folder for Director .I uninstalled Creator today and there i had a folder and i saw what was inside.. I have seen a folder before for Director. What shall i do.? Mirja
