Since I used Proshow in the past, I decided to give Photopia a try. Downloaded the Creator edition today.
Issue 1: Avira kicks in and flags the installer as a virus (since it's a program that downloads content from the web), solution 1: temporarily disable AV while installing.
Issue 2: Start program, activate trial mode, and open show/create new show removed link As soon as I open the 'browser' tab, I see the window for a split second and then the program closes. Is reproduceable 100% of the time on my laptop...
Any ideas what could be wrong? Limitation of Trial Version?
Hope to find a solution so I might buy the product... Glad I did the trial run first 🙂

Update: left the program 'open' for a few minutes, and now the crash seems to be gone... Still no clue on what caused the issue though...
Update 2: tried adding a new photo to a slide show: bingo - app closes...
