I am using the trial version of Director, expecting to purchase it immediately after the trial runs out.  HOWEVER, I am having severe issues with this program.  I have made the same slideshow 3 different times now and cannot load them to work on them again once saved.  I have changed the way I am doing things thinking I just need to learn the new program but nothing works.  It is very frustrating having hours of work disappear.  Now I am up against a timeline and am wondering if Photopia Director is the right choice for me.

INFORMATION:

 1)  I save my slideshow before exiting my work for the night.

2)  Upon opening Director to begin working on the slideshow again I tell it to open the show, in this case title "MAMAW".

3)  I get an error box stating "An error occurred when loading the project".  I have tried opening it at different times and am not successful.

4) I checked the C:\Users\Documents\Photopia Slide Shows\MAMAW file.  It shows the project there.  I tried opening the show from that file and it does NOTHING.

  I am aware that this is still a somewhat new program but it seems to me that the basic saving and retrieving a slideshow is of utmost importance.

   Your assistance is needed and would be appreciated !!

Photopia does not generally have problems saving and retrieving shows, as this IS a critical feature of the program.  When you get a chance, please reach out through our Contact Us form for further assistance.  We may ultimately need to get one of those shows sent over for further analysis, but that can all be discussed over eMail.  Thank you.

I apologize, I thought that the forums were for getting help on the issues.

@cyn

The forum is a great place for many things, including getting help from the larger Photopia community, which is growing all the time.  For a variety of reasons, we prefer to answer specific support requests, bug reports, and things of that nature over eMail, hence the reliance on that Contact Us form.  Thank you for understanding.
