I have been struggling to combine two shows. In each of the combined shows (I've tried this OVER AND OVER), there were many missing images. Even when I went slide by slide to fix this manually, many of the slide still show missing files or effects when I play the entire show even though they play correctly when I play the individual slide. Any idea what I can do to get this function to work?

Stephen, I am having the same problem and support has been unresponsive to the emails I have sent them. I guess they are more concerned with getting out the Mac version.....

I tried it again for the 5th time. This time, I unchecked the box that put a blank slide between the shows. It worked exactly as it should. The shows came together and no files, transitions, or effects were missing. I'm not sure why this worked for me this time. Perhaps it is that extra blank slide... I have no other explanation. Thanks for your response, Robert. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone.
See what happens after you close the program and then reopen it. I would have all the shows until then.
Robert, you are absolutely right. When I got out of the program, and then went back into it, I had the exact same problems.
I did a bit of digging and found that the merged shows DO NOT copy the DATA folders of the original shows. In fact, the merged shows have no DATA folder. Without that folder, the merged show can't figure out where the resources (files, effects, transitions, etc.) are. I decided to experiment and copy the DATA folders from the separate shows into a DATA folder that I created inside merged Slideshow's folder (found in C: Documents/Photopia Slide Shows/[Slideshow Name]). This seems to have fixed the problems of missing files entirely. I have saved the merged show, shut down the program, and Photopia can still find the files... because they are in a DATA folder inside the merged Slideshow's folder. The key is to have all of the photos, transitions, effects, music, etc. in a DATA folder inside the Slideshow folder created by Photopia for the merged show. I hope this helps you... and helps the Photopia staff fix this problem.
Hi Stephen, I went about it in a different manor where I used the "Save Project As" option to insure a new Data folder would be created. This created new problems for me because the three shows I combined were each a different template. The combined show worked as expected until saved and reopened, now it would duplicate images from one show to another, delete a video background from one show or screw up the timing of how the template worked. Timing would have images floating across the screen at various times and other problems. Photopia is aware of this and is working on it.
What I did to complete my show was publish each show as a video file and then put the 3 video files together as one show/project. Hope they get it sorted out soon.

The next update will include a fix for this missing "Data" folder issue. Once that update is released, please let us know of any problems that persist. This fix should be solid, but you never know. 8)
