Good Morning from Germany to all of you and sorry for my bad English language!
Photopia does not help but members of this forum are helping!
After I could not update the Photopia Player I did what Robert and Bob explained! Thank you.
Now I can start the updated player - but IT DOES NOT PLAY an created and as Stand alone show rendered Show!
The Player seems not to find the slides in the show!
An other day I start frustrated!

Hi Peter,
The first version of the Photopia player had all sorts of problems including but not limited to the uninstall portion did not work. What I would try is to manually remove all reference to the player in the folder it was installed in (default location is C:\Program Files\Photopia Player\) and the registry. Reboot and download the new version of the player from Photopia Downloads section of their web site. The updated release is 1.0.319. This version actually works but still has issues, like when you start it alone it just sits there with nothing on the screen until you click anywhere on the screen. Then you will get the option to choose a file to play.

That is exactly what I did, the player in the new version runs, but does not show any slide!
I will reinstall it a second time!

I can get a stand alone show to play but on certain slide styles I get the problem of missing files even though I do not get the missing files if I publish the same show as a 4k video file.

Even with the latest update .333 this is still happening. Happens when using a Wizard or a Template.

Happy New Year everyone!
We were able to reproduce the 'missing file' problem reported in this thread. That issue has been sent off to be corrected. If anyone is still experiencing other problems with the standalone player, please use the Contact Us form to report those issues. While we do monitor the forum to keep an eye out for issues that need to be addressed, sending those reports to us directly is a much better way to ensure that the particular complication you've run into gets the attention it needs.

Just purchased Photopia today. Created a project with three slides and two videos.
I published a Standalone version. Downloaded the player, and I have the same problem. "Files Missing" during playback.
I can advance to a video section after starting the playback, but I only get audio, no video.

Please reach out through our Contact Us for so we can work with you to troubleshoot this issue further. We'll end up needing to get a number of files from your system and that's just easier to do through eMail.

Hello,
I still the problem with "Files Missing". I can't images in Creator drag and drop since 2 weeks.
When I use Wizzard I have "Files Missing" even though are in Creator I can see it.
