I just finished a show with Director. This was the first show since I changed over from Producer. It still takes getting used to the new interface and functionality of the right-click button but the bottom line is... I like it. I have reviewed the training videos that come with the program as well as those videos that Jennifer Clark [Choice Slides] has available at Vimeo. I do admit that it is taking time as Direcor is not Producer version 10 but it is functional and it does work. It is so good to know that a program to replace Producer is available and, for some at least, very welcome. It is good to know that the functionality of most of ProShow Producer's effects, transitions, etc. are able to be imported into Director. I was also so happy to see that Director is 64-bit which makes a huge difference in handling memory issues. There are bugs but they seem to be addressed by the engineering team at Photopia. Thank you Photopia for a very good program.
