I am constantly having weird things happen while trying to learn Creator. The program is very unstable and I am hoping with either purchase of license or updates it will improve. It is quite frustrating and has caused me to waste much of my preview time with it locking up or shutting down. I purchased Jennifer's Vimeo Creator tutorials and they are helpful, but they don't help with the program instability. 😉 If anyone has any idea I am open. I don't have any other programs running along with it, although I always had my photo editing program open with Producer.
Same thing is happening to me with Director. Freezing, locking up and having to force close via task manager or windows. I like the styles and affects, but application very unstable. Should be in a beta mode.
I'm going to be a little patient and continue to post issues. Hopefully Photopia will work out the bugs. Has the potential to be a robust application once stabilized. I've been with Photodex for almost 10 years and was pleased with development until the company folded. Anyway if Photopia is using some of the same developers I'm going to wait and watch to see if they can take this application to the next level. Has great transitions and style packs. Just need to stablize and ensure ease of use. I'm pretty good figuring out slide show applications without training for last 15 plus years. But some things in Photopia are a little fuzzy and should be basics. Keep working at it.
Program stability is (obviously) our primary concern. Photopia should not hang, freeze, crash, or otherwise fail to function as expected. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to resolve these issues if they're not reproducible on our end. When you run into a problem that causes the program to behave unexpectedly, please consider taking a moment to send in a report through our Contact Us form. These reports result in an eMail exchange were we can troubleshoot whatever situation you've run into and, in most cases, figure out the underlying cause / trigger so that our developers can implement an appropriate solution.
Thank you.
