I'm trying to publish a project with 8 shows and around 360 slides plus a few videos in it. First I tried to create a DVD .ISO image (I've learned from ProShow never to burn from the program!). On the first pass, the software made it to 68% and then Creator froze so badly that I had to force power-off the computer. There was no breaking in. I restarted Creator, tweaked a couple of cosmetic items I had spotted that needed it, and then started another DVD .ISO creation. This time it completed in about an hour (it's a 51 minute total show time). OK, that worked.
Next, feeling a little better, I started a BluRay .ISO creation. Now it's about a little over 2 hours later, and Creator has once again crashed. This time it happened while I was in front of the PC, and it occurred again somewhere in the $60-70% range (can't read last digit because a coder didn't leave enough room in the display window). I'm considering trying it again off a fresh restart of the program, but I'm getting more and more concerned that Photopia is not ready for prime time.
I'm willing to give it a fair shake, but 2 hours to failure on a BluRay creation task is kind of a long time to wait. My system is:
Dell XPS-8910, 16 GB RAM, i7-6700 3.4 GHz CPU, nVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti video, Windows 10 Pro (64 bit)
Any help appreciated.
Duane
I'm submitted a trouble report and am working with Joshua off-line now.
