On the Preview Window, the ruler that shows the time should differentiate on that ruler the section of time that is part of the incoming & outgoing transition versus the slide time, so that we can see/know the exact part of that ruler that is the slide/picture . It can be done easily with shaded area of the ruler for slide time.  Thank you.

No, that it not quite what I mean.  Based on your photo:  the time ruler should show .517 seconds of transition time prior to the slide time of 6.6 seconds and then the ruler should indicate .383 seconds of transition time for the outgoing transition.  In your photo, the transition of the layer each layer is shown, but not the transition for the entire slide.
