Hello,

i am a user of Proshow Producer but i can not use all feature because this Program is only in english and some funktions are to difficult for me to understand.

I asked the the Photodex Support if they are planing  for the Future a Multilingal Version but i never received an answer from the Support Team. I think the Support of Proshow is dead.

At the moment i use the Program PTA AV Studio. This also great and it is Multilingial (especially german language).

Is your Software also Multilingual or only in english? Otherwise I would like to change to your Software because the features are also great like Proshow Producer.

Thank you for your response

@garth73

You will need to choose (Support - Contact Us) at the top of the page to get a answer from Photopia, they do not check in here very often.

TO DO Liste steht, jedoch ganz weit unten ohne Priorität.

VG

Photopia are trying to get started with their two applications Director and Creator. They got off to a shakey start.
Now they are getting things working better and better.
Writing about other applications that can be a complement to Photopia, for example Audacity or Photoshop etc. is normal and an accepted practice on a Forum.

Writing about competing products, products that do the same job, is not considered good etiquette!
People who write about competing products on a forum are considered to be trolls.

I hope that this tendency does not grow.

This is a forum for Photopia. We write about the good and the bad with Photopia products.

Regards
Douglas

Not a problem Garth.  👍

I just thought I should mention it now, in case some real trolls do turn up to disrupt this Forum.

Douglas

Douglas,

I do not recommend being so strict specially to new members.

We need more new, active members in this forum.

Even if they do not adhere exactly to the rules you have formulated here.

I agree with you. Good you wrote about this problem. I have noticed on one forum false information about Photopia and after that comes information about another program," An other forum i have also met false information of Photopia but not so grove. I belong some forums ( not active ) and i will go to all of them and see if there is false information of Photopia.

We must have eyes open what comes in here. I am not sure what is going on.Perhaps only water in the glas. For me Photopia is important as many others here.I never change.

I agree also with Peter that new members can make mistakes. They do not know our rules and  they do not want bad for Photopia. You kan kindly tell them rules, if necessary

Many programs can we only have one year. And then pay again.
Develops goes strongly in that direction.
On the other hand, upgrades have become very expensive.

Mirja,

I cannot make forum rules. Normally you expect there to be forum rules that users can read and agree to.
Maybe they will come in the future.
The forum should have some moderators. (By the way - don't suggest that I should be one. I have no time)

I completely agree with you and Peter that we should be taking care of newcomers and beginners. But newcomers who begin to suggest alternative slideshow applications should be told to stop posting that information.
There are many things to be fixed in Photopia applications. If members start leaving to sign up for competitor applications maybe Photopia development will stop because of lack of money.

Be kind and welcoming - but be careful.  It is easier to prevent a problem instead of trying to fix it after it has appeared.

Regards

Douglas

Hijacked and Trolls, surely it’s up to the Administrator to censor what is said on the forum.

You people have to much to say.

Thats the end for me being part of this forum.
