I added a Category name in Creator and then decided not to use it.   It contains one effect that was built into Photopia Creator, which the system will not let me remove.  How do you remove a Photopia Effect from a User Category?

Categories should be remove automatically once they're no longer used in any effect.  Select the Category in question then make sure that each effect therein is updated to remove that Category.  If you run into further trouble, please reach out through the Contact Us form on our website and we'll be happy to help.

My problem, tho not stated clearly is that my user created Category contains an effect built into Photopia.  I just want to remove it from my category.  When I click on the effect and click "remove" , Photopia says since it is a Photopia built-in effect I can not delete it from the system.  I am not trying to "delete" it from the Photopia system, I just want to "remove" it from my category.  What am I missing?

Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the clarification.  I see what's going on now.  You don't want to use that "Remove" button, as that tells Photopia to remove the selected effects from your system.  Instead, use the "Categorize" option (right next to the "Remove" option).  This will bring up the "Select Categories" window from which you just need to uncheck the categories that you want to remove from the selected effects, then press the "Ok" button to apply those changes.
