I started a new show with the Impact Wizard and added 55 photos, no music. I tried 3 time to publish as a video file at 1080p, program crashed all 3 times. Created a blank show and added the same 55 photos and published without a problem. I then remixed that same show with the Impact Wizard and it crashed again. i have not tried any other Wizards but maybe tomorrow.
Hi Robert, out of interest, at what stage (percentage) did the video file crash? I have made 2 shows using the Impact Wizard and publishing as MPEG-4 at 1080P and neither have had an issue. The last one was 45 photos with no music.

It crashed at various percentages. The 3 times were at about 10%, 25%, and 40%.

Update...
Just some additional information on this. This was with my laptop which is a i7-3610QM, 8GB, and 300GB free space on a SSD.
I ran the same test on my desktop, i7-9700K, 32GB, and 825GB free on a SSD. This time it published fine, slow but it completed.
Another update..
Recent fixes by Photopia “did not” resolve this issue. For now I will only be testing on desktop. I gave up on the laptop for now. I will try again after the next update.
If you have not reported the crash event from that laptop through our Contact Us page, please consider doing so now. We would very much like to see what is going on with that machine. It sounds like the video rendering part of the process is the most likely culprit, which we should be able to troubleshoot better through eMail.
Thank you.
