Just getting started with the programs, so this feature my be there, but looking for a way to place a marker on the soundtrack bar while in the Timeline to help sync the soundtrack with pinpoint precision to a particulate spot in a slide. instead of just looking at the wave form.

We've considered features similar to what you've described here, although there are some notable 'gotchas' to address before something like this could be implemented. It's a feature we want to add, along with a basic 'beat synchronization' option, but we're just not there yet. These requests are logged and will continue to be discussed for future updates.
