I have requested this publishing option, which was present in Proshow, from the first day I installed Photopia Creator.
Joshua agreed with me back then, but after 7 months or so, there is still no publish to Custom Video File.
Anyone doing serious work in Photopia and using requiring the ability to have various bitrates for video and audio output as well as changing codecs in some cases needs this publishing possibility.
Maybe I am alone in thinking this. However, if anyone agrees with me, please add replies to this thread and let Photopia see that Douglas is not the only one wanting "Custom Video File" publishing! Not just a thumbs up/like click, but an actual reply to this topic.

I don't want to preempt your thread, but let me be the first to say that we're with you on this feature and understand the importance of creating video output with just the right parameters. Choosing which issues to address among the known bugs and requested features is a bit of a balancing act. This particular request is a bit more involved than most, which takes more planning and has added a bit to the delay. There have also been a few other issues with higher priority, here and there, in addition to those that could simply be implemented more quickly. Like I said, a bit of a balancing act. 8)
It's interesting that you chose to post screenshots of the "Custom Video File" feature rather than the "Custom Video Preset" option, from the "Video for Web, Devices and Computers" feature. Is there something about the former feature that you prefer over the latter, given that only the latter supports saving custom presets?

I try to be patient, but sometimes I feel like I have to kick something!
Please keep your balance, don't slip and fall. I hope that there will be something to satisfy me in time for the one year anniversary of the launch of Photopia!
I have always preferred the "Custom Video File" as I do all my Blu-Ray authoring in TMPGEnc Authoring works. I can decide exactly what bit rate etc. I want to output when using the "Custom Video File" . The "Video for Web, Devices and Computers" has, at first glance, a bigger selection of default presets, but they are limited in e.g. the free setting of output bit rates.
I am looking forward to seeing "Custom Video File" in the "near" future.

thank you sooooo much. I also complained about it a few months ago. I was told it is in the works. I urgently need it for 3: 2 format video.

In proShow Producer use an mp4 leader made by 3D-Album, how can I get this to import with proper colors.
