There are so many things about Photopia that don’t work right, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I have posted about some of them previously.
The latest problem: zooming and motion don’t work right. Even when I have easing set “correctly”, it still does not work right. First keyframe set to easing Smooth. Easing checkbox is set. Second KF set to Linear. Motion path on first KF set to Linear, not Bezier. Those settings don’t always “take”, but I go back into them to make sure they are set.
The result is a zoom that is NOT smooth. It starts abruptly and lurches to a stop. Also, even though the motion I have set is a straight line, the image still sways back and forth or up and down, depending on the situation.
I never had that trouble with Proshow.
It’s all very disappointing. This is on a new Windows 11 computer.
I’m going to have to just not use zoom in my show.
An update to the complaint I had in this post -- I was wrong -- I had forgotten that you click the little triangles by the zoom controls to apply easing to attributes such as that. When I do that, it works as expected.
That's a big relief.
Thank you for the update on this issue. It's good to see things are working as expected now. If you run into any further complications, please reach out through the Contact Us form on our site and we'll be happy to dig into whatever you find.
