I have been using this same short video clip in a show in Producer and it does fine. I try to use it in Creator and it comes in like this (see attached) and it doesn't play as a video. You can hear the sound but it's like the frames of the video just sit there. Also I have unchecked loop and turned the video volume down to 0 and they don't stay. They flip right back to default. This is the first video clip I have worked with in Creator but I am working with it in Producer and it is working great.
@susanw change the leading transition from cut to something else, say A/B with 3 seconds and see what happens.
I've tried about everything I can think of with the slide time, locked, auto, manual, locked to video time etc. When I add it to the slide this is the way it comes in. The slide sound plays fine but the video just looks like this the entire slide length. The only thing I haven't done is restart my computer and I hate to do that so many times when trying to learn this program. But if you think that will help I will do it. Thanks!
I tried that @robert-mcmurray and it doesn't make a difference. I'll restart computer and try again. Will post here what happens. Thanks for trying.
Susan, I tried to duplicate what you are getting and I could not. What I did find was that if I have a cut transition before a video clip I would just get a quick burst of the video and it would move to next slide. If I use A?B with 3 seconds the video plays fine. I don't have sound with the video clip I used.

This does not play good.
@robert-mcmurray Thank you for trying. I tried the AB with 3 seconds and it didn't change anything. I restarted my computer, no difference. I worked with it till the program went crazy and decided to give it a rest tonight.
What happens if you use a different video. Try to determine if it is this particular video or any video. Good luck.

Please consider getting in touch with us through our Contact Us page, where we can troubleshoot this issue further and hopefully get it resolved. In many cases it becomes necessary to send the problematic video to us, so that our developers can figure out what is going and make the necessary code changes. That process is much easier through eMail.
I did contact Photopia and sent the files to them. They were able to duplicate the problem and are working on the resolution. Thanks again Photopia!
