Hello,

I've been using Photopia Director trial version. I had no luck trimming or moving audio, so I figured I'd buy the software for a month to see if the problem would be fixed in the full version. Unfortunately, I am still having the same issues. If anyone out there could help me, please let me know what I am doing wrong. There is a lock on my soundtrack. Also the video tutorials are limited. Trim is only addressed in the Timeline tutorial and when I copy those actions they do not look the same as they do in the tutorial.

Also, the layout in the video tutorial has the audio centered and the Preview off to the right which is how I like it. In reality, it is the opposite position when I use it. I have worked with trying to change the UI layout options as well as View options and nothing changes. Currently is just stays with Preview in the center and audio off to the right. It does not allow me to drag.

Help please!

Hi Emily
To place the preview window to the right go to VIEW in the tool bar and uncheck Centre the Main Panel.
I like it this way too!

Hope this helps.

Cheers Diane.

I have been struggling with the same thing. When a slide has a slide sound then the Soundtrack is automatically adjusted lower with black and green control points that cannot be adjusted. When hovering over the green control points a popup info line says "Drag to adjust the volume and timing" but they cannot be moved.
1. How can these automatically inserted control point be adjusted?
2. There is the long black line that goes diagonally from the top black control point down to the bottom of the soundtrack. What does this mean?
3. What is the white lock graphic that displays in the bottom corner at the start and end of a soundtrack?

(I have an example screen shot but do not know how to insert it here)

Hi all! I've just subscribed PCreator and already facing the same issue. It's a week I'm struggling with soundtrack and slide audio setting. No way to get slides with soundtrack @ 100% and slide sound @0% or slides with soundtrack in background and slide sound @ 100%, no way to adjust the key control over the waves. Did anybody solved it? In Proshow Producer this functionaly worked so good.......

Have you looked at the tutorial videos by Jennifer at Choice Slides? Take a look at this one.
