Having spent a long time categorizing my Effects when I installed the update it wiped them all out. Not very happy.

I noticed something, probably related, my layout settings had been reset to default.

This appears to be a more general issue, reproducible but unrelated to installing that update.  We'll get the problem over to our QA people so that they can get it logged up and sent off for correction.  Please hold off on any further categorization changes for now, and thank you for reporting the problem.

Can you explain what layout settings were changed after installing that update? We're not seeing the problem on this end, but we may not be looking at the same details.  Thank you.

Hello Joshua,

About a week ago I changed the layout by de-selecting the "View/ Centre the Main Preview".
It was always correct when opening Creator.
I did the latest update to 1.0.313 and the layout went back to the default, with "View/ Centre the Main Preview" selected again.
I changed it back and everything stays as I want.

In other words, after installing  the update the setting went back to the default.

What happened was simple. The update uninstalled everything first, including the settings, then installed it was a new program. Even going so far as to ask for my email and giving me another 14 days trial!
