I accidentally deleted slideshow from Project List. It cannot be recovered. I have lost hours of work. TAKE CARE!

Thanks for the heads up, it doesn't even put it in the recycle bin.

No it did not put it in the recycle bin!
I contacted support and they have advised that when a project is deleted Creator deletes all files in order to save space but will put this forward as a future development. I have looked into what is being stored in the Project folder and in addition to the slideshow file it is also importing the actual jpeg file rather than just having a path to the original photo folder. I had my Creator program and projects folder stored on my relatively small SSD. I have now moved the Projects folder to a HDD and also added this folder to my backup schedule!
