Having trouble with audio positioning.

I left click the position tool and then try to drag and drop my soundtrack into place, holding down the left click, but the soundtrack does not move.

When the soundtrack is first dropped into place its beginning is aligned with time zero. I want to align the soundtrack's beginning with slide 4

but the tool won't drag and drop the soundtrack. Any ideas?

When working in the "Timeline" view, make sure the "Position Tool" is enabled. The icon for that option looks like a bi-directional arrow and is found on the right-hand side of the Soundtrack area. See the attached screenshot, where that tool has been outlined in red for reference.

With the "Position Tool" enabled, make sure the CTRL (or SHIFT) key is held down as you click-and-drag the waveform for that audio track. Note that sliding the waveform left / right will adjust the "Offset" for that audio track, an option also available from the "Track Settings" area of the "Soundtrack" tab on the right-hand side of the program.

@joshua Hello Joshua,

I also have some problems with moving the soundtrack. When I have a small show, the soundtrack moves slightly. But when I have a large show (about 3-5 GB), the soundtrack moves jerkily, not smoothly. Another suggestion - move the soundtrack with the left-right arrow keys.
Best regrdas   Dieter

Thank you for letting us know about this issue with jerky movement in the Show Soundtrack with larger slideshows. We will definitely look into that situation and log the request for moving the soundtrack entries left / right using arrow keys.
