Adding Slide and changing music changes Timing

I imported a ProShow Director show into Photopia.  I have 3 audio tracks.  when I add 3 slides to the first section and try to extend the end of the audio track it changes all the Timing for both slides and transitions.  How do I prevent this from happening?
