I like others have been an Proshow Producer user. Right now, I can't get it to open on the only PC laptop I have to made a video. I was able to find where I downloaded the files in the download folder and was able to import them into Photopia. There are still more like Grunge etc that I have install folders in download. How can I open up proshow to see the files so I can retrieve them and put those in Protopia? I am looking for several styles that I have used in the past but have no idea how to even find them.

also, is there a file that holds the registration key in case I have to reinstall? As it stands now, there are 4-5 installation files that can't be installed on proshow for me to be able to extract.

Photopia is able to import Slide Style (PXS) and Transition (PXT) files designed for ProShow. You should be able to find all of your installed PXS / PXT files in either the ProShow installation folder and/or the following path. The "ProgramData" folder is hidden by default in Windows, but it's there. If you don't see it, just copy / paste the folder path into the address bar at the top of the Windows "File Explorer" window.

C:\ProgramData\Photodex\ProShow

The PXS files will be in the "Styles" folder and the PXT files in the "Transitions" folder. Copy those files over to the computer where Photopia is installed then use the "Import" option in the "Manage Effects" window to get those Slide Styles / Transitions imported into Photopia.

Note that Photopia cannot import effects directly from a Photodex EXE installation file. You'll need to have the PXS / PXT files for that import process. If you happen to have Photopia installed on the same computer where ProShow is installed then you can use the "Import from ProShow" option in Photopia to have those effects imported automatically. The "Import from ProShow" option is available from the options icon in the top-right corner of the "Projects" window in Photopia.
