"Improved drop area in the Content list"
Bob
Hello Robert,
please describe me
"Improved drop area in the Content list".
I don't know what and where that is in the Content list.;-(((
Thank you so much and best regards Dieter
This revision refers to dropping an image / video file into the list of content, within the "Content" tab. We were able to clean up a few things related to that process, which made the UI easier to use.
Sorry I didn’t see your reply to my message. I was having a problem where dropping a image into the place holder on contact tab would either put it in the wrong holder or create a new layer. With the changes they made it is not as sensitive.
Thanks for the explanation Joshua.
Bob
Hello Robert,
no problem. Thank you for the answer
Best regards Dieter
Those of us who have switched from either ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer to Photopia Creator or Director early-on experienced some pretty frustrating issues. Your slide style disappeared, or your audio file didn't load and, if it did, it could be almost impossible to work with. This didn't work, and that didn't do what it was supposed to do. BUT, things have changed
Thanks to Joshua and his team Photopia has become a viable alternative to ProShow. They have worked hard to address almost every issue in a timely manner. They have recognized the program's problems & faults and have worked quickly to correct them
In addition, Photopia has a couple of great features ProShow never had. How about that data folder where all of your files for your show are saved as soon as save the show? No more having to "collect" your show files. This is brilliant. You also don't have to open a "second" screen to view your slide style. I'm sure there are there are more I have yet to discover.
Most importantly, when you write customer support, Joshua replies. And his reply is not a muddled "this must be a problem with your computer" response. It is an honest response that convinces you Photopia will definitely look into the issue you are having. In other words, it is an HONEST response.
It's time for a pat on the back for Joshua and his team. But, hey, let's not get complacent here. Let's see what else you can do.
I’m really liking a lot of what I see, and am having more fun putting shows together than I did in Producer. There is still some flakiness in a few areas, and the Publish modules needs serious work. Unfortunately, that means the project I’m starting today will be done in Producer and hopefully once I’ve finished that one Creator will be more ready for my next project. Like I said, I really like what I’m seeing for the most part, and the quick turnaround of some fixes has been impressive.

We appreciate the kind words and remain committed to constantly improving Photopia. There are certainly some areas in the program that need attention and we're working every day to address those details. Some days we get more done than others, but the work never stops and we want to say "Thank You" for the great feedback we're getting from so many wonderful customers.
