When using the Slide Styles dialog to select a style for an image, I find there are some issues that I can't seem to resolve:
1) I cannot find a way to filter the Slide Styles dialog by the number of Layers I want to see. Must I scroll through ALL the choices or can I limit them to just seeing one, two or three layers, etc?
2) Once keyed on, a style does not present itself in the preview pane as it did in Producer. The image just sits there motionless, therefore I'm not able to see what it looks like before committing to it.
3) After selecting a Style, both the Dialog and the main working screen disappear. An Alt-Tab gets it back, but why should it disappear in the first place?

The list of displayed slide styles can be filtered by Layers, Captions, Aspect Ratio, Orientation, and a few other parameters. The interface for this filtering can be accessed by clicking on the linked "Filter" option shown just above the list of styles, which defaults to "No Filter".
To see what a selected slide style will look like, click the "Preview" button, shown just below the list of styles.
That 'disappearing act' the program is pulling sounds like focus being lost in the main window. If this issue is reproducible, please reach out through the Contact Us form on our site and we'll continue troubleshooting from there.

As a follow up to the above question... the Preview button for Slide Styles: when you press it once, it should preview the slide style one time (not continuous previewing). You should not have to hit the Pause Preview button to stop the preview. My system makes me stop the preview before it will allow me to move on to anything else, like Apply the style.

We hear you on that Preview button in the Slide Styles area, although it IS intended to be a 'continuous playback' toggle, much like the one found in ProShow products. It's a system we're familiar with that seems to work well for most customers. You should find that it's possible to switch the slide style selection, Apply a style, or even select something else in the UI while that Slide Style preview is actively playing.
