I am new to this program come from Producer, I am having an issue when you decide to change a slide style. What happens it removes you photos from the slide, is it you cannot change or am I doing it incorrectly

Peter - I haven't experienced this problem, but, before changing a slide style I always remove the old style by applying "No Style." Then I select the new style. I hope this helps.

I believe we're able to reproduce the issue you're running into, which is induced by a specific order of operations.
When you get a chance, drop an image into your show, to create a new slide. From that new slide, apply a few different slide styles to see if that image is maintained throughout.
