Every Photopia Project has the option to add additional shows. You can easily switch between different shows within the project and publish them all together.
Adding Shows to a Project
Shows that are added to projects can either be brand new or an existing show you are already working on.
To add a new show to your Project, navigate to the Project Tab and click the New icon under the Shows list.
The New Project window will open where you can use the Wizard, start a Blank Show, use a Show Template, or Import a show.
If you have a show you’ve already started working on, you can easily import it into your current project by clicking on File > Import Show into Project.
This will open the Select Project window, which allows you to select an existing show to be imported into your current project.
Accessing Shows Within the Project
Once you have more than one show in a project, you can easily toggle between them by selecting the show you want to work on in the Project tab.
Rest assured, this imported project will still maintain its standalone status on the Home Page. You will see a collapsible arrow for the parent project; all individual shows will be inside. The new show added to your project is not linked to the original, meaning any changes made to the duplicate will not affect the original show.
Publishing Projects with Multiple Shows
When publishing a video file from a project with multiple shows, only the active show will be selected initially.
To publish all shows together, select the Include All option. After selecting the Include All option, you can Exclude a show. Once you hit the Create button, a video file will be generated with the shows in the queue order. To change the order of the shows, simply click and drag the thumbnail images to rearrange them.
If you plan on adding multiple shows to a DVD as separate chapters, be sure to select a thumbnail option that corresponds with the number of shows in your project. For example, if you have three shows, choose one of the three thumbnail layouts available.
