I need basic help! I want to move a block of slides to a different location. First, how do I chose all the slides I want to move? I have successfully used cut and paste one slide at a time. When I have 30-40 slides I want to move as a block this is cumbersome. Plus, sometimes the "cut" refuses to work. Is there something blocking my ability to "cut"? Is there someplace where these simple tasks are discussed? All I can find are things that are beyond my abilities!

Select a block of slides by first clicking on the left-most slide of the group, then hold-down the shift key and select the right-most slide of that group. Now all the slides from left to right should be highlighted. Move the cursor to any one of the highlighted slides, Click-Hold and drag that entire group to the new point in the show where you want them to appear!
In you want to move a non-sequential set of slides from one point to another, use CTRL-Click (rather than Shift-Click) to select those individual (not necessarily sequential) slides. Then as above, click on any one of those selected slides and drag them to the new point in your show.
