Best greetings of the day to everyone,

i've been using Proshow Producer for many years but i decided to buy new pc as i'm tempted with Ryzen 7600x performance but when i tried to activate Proshow Producer on the new PC i got "Servers unavailable" message, i understand because Photodex decided to pull the plug & shut down their business, i'm willing to use Photopia Director because its interface & the whole software is very similar to Proshow products like twin sisters, i will not be missing my beloved Proshow *sad piano melodies in the background & i'm weeping* but i have soo many question before i get onboard Photopia flight & i've sent soo many requests to support team via contact form on the website, i send 3 to 4 help requests daily but nobody listen to me, so i will put my questions here maybe someone give me warm hug & say: come on honey, don't cry, i will help you! Then give me answers but i was wondering if this is the case while i'm not subscriber, what will happen if i subscribed & faced serious problem in the software, i will stay in desert crying for airlift but mobody around to rescue me! Anyway, here are my little questions & thanks in advance for help:

i have effects packages from Proshow producer & transition packages also i've purchased for Proshow Producer, will these work in Photopia Director? And is Photopia Director compatible with windows 11 & is photopia director online based platform or desktop app installed on computer?
Thanks in advance for your help
Regards,

Hey there - don't cry - it's all good 😊 .

I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.

You should still be able to import and use most if not all of your Proshow Producer transitions and effects.  I know I did when I switched over quite some time ago.  Some of those items may not work 100% because of differences in the two programs.  My question - did you purchase those from Photodex or a third party like Jennifer at Choice Slides?  If Choice Slides you will be happy to know that she is updating many of her Proshow items to be 100% compatible with Photopia.

Photopia products are very much Windows 11 compatible and are downloaded to your computer.  They don't have an online version.

I hope that answers your questions.

Hello Honda71 raveena,

this is an old problem. I also currently have 2 questions to support 2 or 3 weeks ago, I don't know how long ago that was. I don't know what to do anymore for help from Joshua. If that doesn't get better, I'll leave Photopia and look for other software with better support.
Joshua leaves his customers out in the rain (i hope this is translated  correctly), we pay for it.
Best regards, Dieter

1). I have Proshow Producer on a second machine and I have a bunch of transitions and slide additions installed. When I considered Photopia as a replacement, being able to use these were important to my decision. Yes, all of my items have been installed successfully into Photopia Creator. I doubt it would be any different in Director.

2). I'm using Photopia Creator on Windows 11 Pro 22H2  OS Build: 22621.1555. I've not experienced OS issues.

3). I'm using Photopia on a desktop computer. I have not seen, or heard of, a cloud based option.
