It sounds like your Photopia Player installation may be in a bad state. When you get a chance, please go to the Downloads section of the Photopia website and get a new download of the Photopia Player. Run that installer to see if reinstalling that application resolves the issue. If the issue persists, reach out to us through the Contact Us form on our site and we'll dig in further.

I don't think it's the Player, and I haven't seen a solution. I have a current version Player. I can create a stand-alone show with some of my recent shows that properly play, but not with others which gives me the same error message "The show could not be loaded".

I suspect the problem is in the Creator because when producing the successful shows the process says it's creating the "background" (?) and then will separately add audio and video files that are in the Creator show. In the unsuccessful shows is creates the backgound and adds few if any other files. My settings for Menu, Shows and Options appear the same in both groups.

Does anyone have an explanation or, better, a solution?
