Hello,
I just converted to Photopia Creator after being unable to re-register Proshow Producer. I upgraded computers and now can't use the old software.
Anyway, I have been working on a new memorial show for our high school 50th reunion, and am using Choice Slides' "Among The Stars" show template as the base. I started the show in Producer, but if I try to import it into Photopia it is a mess, so I just started over. I have taken the first 13 slides from their template, added in a placeholder image where it said, reset the text like I want, and got all the timings and animation like I want for those 13 slides.
The issue I am having is I copied/pasted those 13 slides several times to make enough slides for the deceased classmates, but when I start replacing the placeholder images with classmate images. it goes great for the original 13 slides, but when I get to the copied slides it starts adding the same image to all the other copies of that particular slide down the line. If I change one of those copies further down, it changes the previous images of that particular slide copy to the new image. I am just learning Creator so I might be missing something, but I don't ever recall having this issue in Proshow. I must be missing a setting somewhere that is linking all the image placeholders together when they are copied.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just encountered the same problem you described. I'm just a novice too so can't explain why this is happening but i found a workaround. I think you need to clear the images out of the slides you're copying.
Open the "Content" tab next to the "Layers" tab and delete the image/files there. This should keep your layers and effects intact. You can then copy the slide and insert new images into the layers of the copied slides. Let me know if this works for you or you find another solution.
