We agree that a royalty-free music library would be a great addition to the program.  It's on the feature request list, and not at the bottom, but I can't say at this point when it will be implemented.  Thanks for the feedback.

Please add a Music Library. I would love to try out Photopia, but I'll stick with Producer until Photopia has a music library. 🙂

Yes! We need a music library! I subscribed to Creator but it is taking SO LONG to find music now. I might just go back to Producer to save time.

Most people are held back from making a good "show" for the simple reason that a $40/licence for a 3 minute music track is quite simply out of reach. If a deal could be reached with eg; "stockmusic" or "soundforge" or the like, I think this type of deal would be a number one drawing card to the software.  Simply put, the cost of usable music or sound tracks is killing the market on slide shows. Standard music cannot be used in a slideshow that might be seen in public. A wide variety of low cost, high quality tunes would be of supreme value at this time. With money exchange, a good sound track costing $40. USD, is actually about $65. CDN plus 15% tax here in Canada (aka Taxada).  Way too much for my blood !!!  We really need a good music library !!!

We're with you on this issue.  Royalty-free music libraries are very expensive, even for us, but we recognize their importance and remain committed to implementing such a resource in Photopia products.  Just don't be surprised if it's not in the next update.  8)

A few of us are waiting for the decision on the music library and the fixing of the playback stuttering before committing and as Proshow still had the music library, we were willing to wait.

Now that Proshow is stopping access to the music library at the end of the month (AND SUCH SHORT NOTICE IS DISGUSTING) , I think it is probably something that needs to be pushed as there are other programs that have one, so some potential customers may be swayed to go elsewhere.

"Services within ProShow that rely on Photodex servers will cease to function on January 31, 2020. This includes the music library and downloadable extras. "

Thanks Joshua! I’m glad that music is on the list because several have told me that it is a deal breaker. It is very important to me as well. Music is not only expensive, but it is so difficult to find quality stuff that goes with a show.

Thank you for the followup on this request.  We do see the importance of having a music library in the program and I'll make sure this request gets another nudge.

I don't see any reference for adding music to your slideshows or editing the length of multiple music files to match the length of a particular segment of

my slideshow?

ProShow was very efficient in adding and editing music files and video.

Harold. There is an add sound button on the top of the timeline. Right click on the sound track below the slides on timeline to access menu options for editing added sounds.

Menu options to sync shows/ slides to audio are in the tools menu at the top of the main screen

Hey, here's an idea... Take over the music library from Photodex. Also, beyond the large selection of occasionally not awful tunes, please maybe carry over their organization and integration techniques.

I just subscribed to the free trial this morning.  I imported a show I did for this Christmas to see how it would work.  The audio didn't import, I always used producer's music library.  I WILL NOT subscribe  without a music library that is as high a quality as producer's was.  I'm an avid user of producer and a willing transfer to photopia even though its a subscription  software is something else I don't like.  But the music library is a show stopper, pun intended.
