Copy Layers Between Slides
A quick way to save time in Photopia is to duplicate your designed layers from one slide to another by dragging and dropping them.
Copying layers with their adjustments and keyframes saves time by avoiding the need to recreate the same look or animations. This method works for all types of layers, including images, construction layers, and caption layers.
It makes it especially easy to keep captions consistent throughout your slideshow.
In the example above, we have set our Caption’s font, size, position, Fly-In, and 1st Keyframe position. We want a consistent look for a new caption on the next slide. Instead of building a new caption from scratch, we can copy this caption to the next slide.
Select the Caption layer in the original Slide’s Layers list, then drag it directly onto another slide in the Slides timeline.
The copied caption layer will have the same font, size, position, fly-in, and keyframe placement as the original. All you’ll need to do is change the text, if needed.
Dragging layers from one slide to another is a simple shortcut, but it can make a big difference. It can help you work faster, stay consistent throughout your show, and increase efficiency instead of rebuilding the same layers over and over.
